Why Creativity Matters with Philip Rowe – (virtual event)
September 4 at 6:17 pm - 8:00 pm PDT
Lecture Details
Creativity is often seen as being elite, exclusive as only belonging to artists, painters, musicians, actors, writers, and others…. I disagree. I say that creativity is a part of everyone.
And there is science that shows that all humans are inherently creative. You could say that creativity is a human superpower that:
- Allows us to be highly adaptive individuals
- Fuels human, societal, and technological progress
- Positively affects on our own well-being
- Provides fulfillment and social connection
During this talk I will share data and research on the benefits of creativity, how technology can help or hinder our creativity, and how we can use our creative powers to support our happiness journey.
