About the Speaker
Amelia Abreu is a writer, design researcher and the founder of UX Night School. Based in Portland, Oregon, she has worked with teams at eBay, Nike, Mozilla, Microsoft Research and Intel, as well as startups and cultural organizations. She holds graduate degrees in Human Computer Interaction and Information Studies from the University of Washington and the University of Texas-Austin. Her work and writing has been featured in The New Inquiry, Motherboard, Model View Culture, the CBC and the BBC.
