Technology shapes the world we live in, and one thing we know is that it changes constantly. With so many new developments in different directions, it becomes harder and harder to keep up. Big data, NFTs, cryptocurrencies, multicore, AI, robotics, and generative design are potential factors to shape the world we live in, our clients engage with, and for us to design. Where will the paths of desire lead? So many new possibilities are arising!
We live in a time of great cultural shifts as well. The last year has taught us many lessons about being human. Communities and inclusion have never been more important. We’ve connected with each other in ways we never anticipated during times of both crisis and celebration. To create experiences that help us be more human, more empathetic, honest, and engaged is an integral part of our UX mission. Reconciling the need to be more human while using more technology is the ultimate challenge.
Looking ahead to 2022, we plan to explore the full range of opportunities through a look at advances in all facets of emerging technology. It’s only by exploring the unexpected that we begin to anticipate and embrace change. Join CHIFOO as we bravely face the future and expand our virtual horizons.
